The Magento 2 Security Extension prevents various hacks or attempted attacks on the Adobe Commerce website. It notifies the Admin for failed login attempts for Admin as well as for customers. The Admin can blacklist IPs and ban the country where the website is restricted.

• Track login attempt records like User details and IP address.
• Maintain a log for every Admin failed login attempt.
• Keep a log of every customer's failed login attempt.
• Send mail notifications for failed login attempts.
• Blacklist IPs and ban the country where the website is restricted.

For the Magento Security extension, we use the GeoPlugin API. GeoPlugin is free within the limit of 120 lookups per minute. If your site has more than 120 visitors per minute at peak periods, then you need to buy the premium service (https://www.geoplugin.com/premium).

Extract the ZIP file into the Magento app/ code folder

Post which, run the following command:

1. php bin/magento setup:upgrade
2. php bin/magento setup:di:compile
3. php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
4. php bin/magento cache:flush
